فاز "Best Savory Snack" بجائزة Kent Crisps في حفل جوائز Great British Food Awards 2022

بعد أن انطلقت في وقت متأخر 2021, يعتبر لحم الضأن وإكليل الجبل أحدث إضافة إلى مجموعتنا. البقاء وفيا لنهجنا التوقيع, يتم تصنيع Lamb and Rosemary باستخدام Romney Lamb الذي يتغذى على العشب من مزرعة Kent Shepherd, another nod to Kent’s quality produce. With an obvious tie to the Romney Marsh, the pack also features St Thomas Becket Church at Fairfield on the front, photographed by local photographer Darryn Jenner.

The Great British Food Awards is a celebration of the best artisanal British produce and the hard-working people behind the scenes. This year, the awards were more significant than ever, with a plethora of new categories from dairy and cheese, to drinks and savoury preserves; each product going through vigorous taste testing from a panel of some of Britain’s most acclaimed chefs, critics and influencers.

Judge, chef and restaurant owner, Richard Bainbridge, commented with incredibly positive feedback stating:

“The first thing I noticed was that the packaging was great – there was loads of information about the heritage of where the lamb came from and the rosemary, and I loved the fact that they’re a local product…

The flavour was insane – it literally tasted like a Sunday roast on a crisp and my 4-year-old daughter ate them and exclaimed “These taste like gravy!” which I thought was the best compliment you could have. They just packed such a punch of flavour – you could taste the rosemary; you could taste the lamb. Beautiful crisp all round and if I was at a drinks party, in the pub or in the middle of the table when having drinks at home, I would be very impressed. Great, great crisps, great company, love the packaging and very excited to see what other flavours they do.”
