Brabourne are a family vineyard run by Paul and Hester in the village of East Brabourne, Kent. After many years spent travelling across Europe, they settled in Brabourne and have dedicated themselves to making the most of their house and land.
What originally began as a few fruit trees and chickens expanded into much more! The Southwest facing, sloping land has been perfect for their vines to thrive. Most of the work is done by hand on their small vineyard and they’ve lovingly converted a WW2 Nissen Hut into a tasting room, so be sure to visit.

Kent’s original vineyard, dating back to the 60’s and is owned and managed by second and third generation farmers in the Barnes family.
Many of you will know they have an apple orchard and produce cider but in the late 60’s Joyce was inspired to turn to viticulture after listening to a BBC Woman’s Hour programme! The family planted a third of an acre of vines and the vineyard was born.
