Why Kent Crisps?

Established in 2011, we have over a decade’s experience in creating the very best tasting crisps using only the finest quality ingredients.  Our range is produced using 100% Red Tractor assured British potatoes which are hand cooked in small batches, before being coated with a generous amount of seasoning.  We were one of the first crisp brands to use real food ingredients and partnerships with local producers to create our flavours and are constantly developing new, exciting partnerships & collaborations.

We’re a small but very passionate team, with a love for good food and a mission to grow Kent Crisps as a much loved local and global snack brand.  We work closely with our customers to make sure you not only get the best tasting crisps on the market, but are also offered the highest level of service & support.

Our Range

We produce seven delicious flavours of Kent Crisps: Sea Salt, Ashmore Cheese & Onion, Chipotle Chilli, Sea Salt & Vinegar with Biddenden Cider, Oyster & Vinegar, Lamb & Rosemary and Ham & Mustard, all of which are available in 40g single serve bags with selected flavours available in 150g sharing bags and 30g travel bags.  All of our flavours are inspired by and made using Kent food & drink products, with collaborations with world-famous landmarks and local landscapes used on our pack front imagery.

Our Awards

We are proud to be a Great Taste Producer, having won numerous Great Taste Awards over the years, as well as having been awarded ‘Kent Food Producer of the Year’ at both the Taste of Kent Awards and Kent Life Food & Drink Awards.  We were also awarded ‘Micro Business of the Year’ at the Federation of Small Business Awards, winning both regionally and nationally.

International sales

We export to over 10 countries world-wide, and understand both the opportunities and challenges that come with international sales of snacks.  Kent Crisps owner, Laura Bounds, was awarded her MBE in 2021 for Services to International Trade and is an Export Champion for the Department for International Trade, with a wealth of knowledge when it comes to working with the international market.

We have worked hard to ensure that Kent Crisps are the natural choice for those looking to stock British crisps further afield, having developed packaging and packing systems to give an extended 9 month shelf life, with the ability to stand up to warmer climatic conditions both in transit and on shelf.

We have translations to multiple languages on the back of packs, as well as weight declarations in both grams and ounces.  Pair this with our signature approach to branding with a prominent Union flag and imagery of quintessential British landscapes, world-famous landmarks and unique twists on classic flavours, available in a range of sizes, and we’re confident that Kent Crisps will be the perfect fit for your snacking needs!
